(Yicai Global) April 12 -- As part of Pudong’s efforts to detect new cases of Covid-19, Shanghai’s financial district has started using Fire Eye, an automated Covid-19 testing lab designed by BGI Genomics and used in Wuhan in 2020.

On a recent visit, Yicai Global learned that the mobile laboratory has seven isolation rooms and can handle up to 100,000 test vials a day, with each vial containing multiple samples.
