(Yicai Global) Nov. 20 -- Major Chinese internet education platform Hujiang Education & Technology (Shanghai) Corp. has gained exclusive reading rights to Journeys, one of the three primary English teaching materials for 3- to 9-year-old children through an agreement with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Co. [NASDAQ:HMHC] (HMH), technology media outlet Iyiou reported.
The agreement allows Hujiang to not only sell the content to schools, but also to individual users.
HMH, with over 180 years of history, is one of the largest literary and educational publishing companies in the world and consistently holds leading positions in the educational publishing market in the US.
Founded in 2001, Hujiang is a large-scale internet education enterprise in China. It mainly provides online teaching and currently has 140 million registered users.
