(Yicai Global) Sept. 22 -- Chinese fintech firm JC Finance & Tax Interconnect Holdings Ltd. [SHE:002530] will donate CNY30 million (USD4.56 million) over five years to the People's Bank of China School of Finance (PBCFS), which was co-founded by world renowned Tsinghua University and China's state bank, the listed company said in a press briefing on Sept. 21.

The enterprise will help PBCFS develop the Tsinghua Fintech Research Institute and engage in academic research, high-level management talent training, internships and supporting student careers.

JC Finance & Tax also holds naming rights for chair professors and awards scholarships at the school.

Tsinghua PBCFS, formerly known as the graduate school for the People's Bank of China, has cultivated multiple leaders for the country's central bank.

JC Finance & Tax Interconnect offers online financial and tax services and went public by merging with a shell company.
