(Yicai Global) Oct. 10 -- Rail Power Systems, the German arm of Chinese rail equipment maker Keyvia Electric, has penned a EUR37.4 million (USD41 million) deal to build the catenary system for a railroad in Stuttgart.

The agreement with Deutsche Bahn involves installing the system, which provides power to high-speed trains, in a 46.7 kilometer underground tunnel leaving Stuttgart Central Station, the Tianjin-based contractor said yesterday. It aims to complete the work by March 7, 2024.

Shares in Keyvia [SHE:300407] were up 0.87 percent at CNY8.09 (USD1.14) as of 3.03 p.m.
