(Yicai Global) Oct. 18 -- Kingdee Medical Software Technology Co., which provides electronic data solutions to hospitals, has teamed up with the world's largest mobile communication platform for doctors and patients, Chunyu Yisheng, the former said in a recent statement.
"We hope to connect more than 1,500 hospitals with over 500,000 doctors," Yin Zhiguo, general manager of Kingdee, said on the company's vision. "And provide comprehensive, closed-loop management and services to more than 200 million patients, making it one of the most reliable technological healthcare service platforms."
Kingdee decided to partner up with Chunyu Yisheng because of the latter's experience in operation management and communication platforms for doctors and patients.
"Through the cooperation, we hope to integrate our ability to connect with Chunyu Yisheng's operational capacity, and work together to explore new models for mobile internet hospitals to facilitate the connection between hospitals and patients and help doctors better communicate," Yin said.
Since 2014, Kingdee's internet hospitals have connected over 400 first- and second-class hospitals while Chunyu Yisheng has over 125 million registered online users.
There are four levels of interconnections between hospitals, Zhuang Yiqiang, director of Hong Kong-based Ailibi Hospital Management Research Center, told Yicai Global. There are those within hospitals, those between different hospitals, those with third parties and those with the public. Kingdee is well versed in connecting different hospitals whereas Chunyu Yisheng has experience connecting hospitals with the public.
"In mobile healthcare, Chunyu Yisheng is a leader in client operations and Kingdee leads in terms of business," Zhuang said. "Their coalition could help the industry move forward."
