Listed Chinese Firms See No Big Impact From Russia-Ukraine Crisis Listed Chinese Firms See No Big Impact From Russia-Ukraine Crisis

(Yicai Global) Feb. 24 -- The Russia-Ukraine clash is not currently having any big impact on production, according to a number of listed Chinese firms with interests in the two countries, amid a drastic escalation in the situation.

Shanghai Taisheng Wind Power has not yet received clients' orders for its Ukraine export project, so the crisis is not affecting production so far, the company told Yicai Global today.

A member of staff at China Longyuan Power Group said that operations at its wind power plant in Ukraine are normal at present, adding that Longyuan Power has an emergency plan and systems in place in case overseas projects run into unusual circumstances.

Sanchuan Wisdom Technology has a Russian export business but the current Ukraine-Russia situation is not likely to affect it that much, the firm said on Feb. 22. Guangdong Goworld also said the same day that the crisis has not affected its supply chain.

Jiangsu Zhongli Group previously set up a wholly owned unit in Ukraine to invest in solar power plants, but sold it last June, an employee told Yicai Global today.
