(Yicai Global) Sept. 18 -- Most commodity futures slumped today, even as coking coal, coke and rubber nosedived.

For-delivery next January coking coal futures fell 5.74 percent to USD193 (CNY1,280.5) per ton at the closing ring, while January-delivery coke futures closed at CNY2,185.5 per ton, down 6.12 percent. Both were in the doldrums for the fourth straight day.

The main future contract for rubber due in January closed down 5.62 percent to CNY15,210 per ton. It has slumped for 4 days.

Aside from nonferrous metals and agricultural products, main commodity contracts were all depressed.
