(Yicai Global) Feb. 24 -- Mys Group has lately won its bid to provide packaging services for BMW China's auto parts.

BMW China recently notified the Chinese major packaging service provider its tender had beaten out its rivals' and it will provide the company's wrappings, Shenzhen-based Mys announced late yesterday, but without detailing the value of the deal or other particulars.

Mys Group's shares [SHE:002303] opened up 3 percent, then faltered in mid-morning, but recovered to close up 5.5 percent at CNY5.56 (USD0.79) at the lunch bell.

BMW China Services mainly develops and buys auto and motorcycle parts and provides internal audit and financial services for BMW's subsidiaries in China and other Asian countries and for its Munich, Germany-based parent BMW Group and its Mini and Rolls Royce marques, per the announcement.

Financial details for services and cooperation will be decided based on clients' orders, the announcement stated, adding Mys sees this cooperation as an opportunity to discover new high-quality clients in the auto industry and improve is auto component packaging and design to achieve safe, reliable and low-cost product transport and storage.
