(Yicai Global) OCT 11 -- The official exchange rate of onshore CNY against USD closed at 6.5861 on Oct. 10, hitting new highs since Sept. 20, and up by 424 basis points and 387 basis points compared with the official and night closing prices of the previous trading day respectively.

The central parity rate of CNY against USD was 6.6273 on Oct.10 while that of the previous day was 6.6493.

The foreign exchange reserves in Sept. went up to USD3,108.5 billion, rising for eight consecutive months.
