(Yicai Global) April 16 -- The People's Bank of China has strengthened the yuan by 15 basis points against the dollar today, fixing the central parity rate at 6.7097 -- 38 bips higher than yesterday's market-based closing price of 6.7059. A higher rate means a weaker yuan.
