(Yicai Global) March 16 -- China's central bank set the central parity rate between the Chinese yuan and the US dollar at 7.0018 this morning, 15 basis points firmer for the redback from March 13.
The China Foreign Exchange Trade System, the interbank trading and foreign exchange division under the People's Bank of China, fixes the benchmark parity rate on the morning of each business day. Spot rates may deviate 2 percent above or below the figure during the day.
