(Yicai Global) June 11 -- The People's Bank of China will issue yuan-denominated bank bills in Hong Kong later this month, according to a statement.
The PBOC has issued such bills three times in the special administrative region since November. The aim is to directly adjust liquidity in Hong Kong's offshore yuan market and stabilize the exchange rate, market insiders noted.
