(Yicai Global) Jan. 9 -- The China Foreign Exchange Trade System, the interbank trading and foreign exchange division under China's central bank, set the yuan's central parity rate against the dollar at 6.9497 this morning, depreciating the redback by 47 bips from yesterday.
The institute fixed the rate at the yuan's strongest in five months yesterday, 6.9450.
