(Yicai) March 6 -- Chinese generative artificial intelligence startup AISphere, whose video creation platform PixVerse boasts more than 40 million users worldwide, has secured over CNY400 million (USD55.2 million) from Series A fundraisers after completing the latest round.
The Series A5 funding round was exclusively led by Eminence Ventures, according to an announcement by Lighthouse Capital, which continued to serve as the sole financial advisor, yesterday.
Beijing-based AISphere will mainly use the proceeds to supplement operating capital, accelerate model and product development, and attract high-end talent, Lighthouse Capital noted.
AISphere likely bagged over CNY100 million from the latest fundraisers based on its previous announcement that its proceedings from Series A funding rounds had reached nearly CNY300 million after completing the fourth one.
Established in April 2023, AISphere employs around 50 workers. Its founder and Chief Executive, Wang Changhu, has 20 years of experience in the computer vision and AI fields, having previously worked at Microsoft and TikTok's Chinese owner ByteDance.
PixVerse's monthly active users have topped 15 million, showing strong market growth momentum.
