(Yicai Global) Jan. 31 -- Hyperci Technology Co., a machine-vision technology company, will use newly secured funding to advance efforts to achieve mass productions as well as expand its technical team and explore industrial applications of its products.

The Beijing-based firm's pre-A round financing came to multiple millions of dollars, led by QingYan Capital and Quicktron, Hyperci said in a press briefing yesterday.

The startup focuses on the research and development, and manufacture of simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology, as well as usage scenarios for vision-centric robotics.

Hyperci uses SLAM, three-dimensional machine vision, robot planning and navigation as well as artificial intelligence technologies to improve the autonomous capabilities of machines which can be applied intelligent robots, unmanned aerial vehicles and augmented reality products.
