(Yicai Global) April 29 -- Shanghai detected one more imported novel coronavirus case yesterday, taking the eastern metropolis' total of confirmed cases to 645, the city's health commission said this morning.

The new addition, a Chinese citizen who had been working in Russia, traveled back to Shanghai on April 10, according to the commission.

Meanwhile, three imported Covid-19 cases were released from hospitals yesterday after full recovery.

The commission confirmed no new domestically transmitted cases yesterday. It also reported no asymptomatic cases under observation in the city the same day.

Among the city's total of 306 imported Covid-19 cases, 53 patients are being treated, with two in severe condition, and 253 have been discharged upon recovery.

The commission said four suspected cases, also involving people who have recently been overseas, are undergoing further tests.

Of the 339 local cases, seven have died, one is being treated, and 331 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospital, it added.
