(Yicai Global) May 31 -- Shanghai reported no new imported or domestically transmitted novel coronavirus cases yesterday, with the eastern metropolis' total remaining 672, the city's health commission said this morning.

It also reported no asymptomatic cases under observation in the city as of yesterday.

Among the confirmed 331 imported Covid-19 cases so far, seven patients are being treated and 324 have been discharged upon recovery, the commission said..

It added three suspected cases, also involving people who had recently been overseas, are undergoing further tests.

Of the 341 local cases, seven have died, one is being treated and 333 patients have fully recovered and been released from hospital, the commission said.
