(Yicai Global) June 7 -- Shanghai reported no new imported or domestically transmitted Covid-19 cases yesterday, marking two days running in which the eastern metropolis' patient total stood at 677, the city's health commission said this morning.

It also reported no asymptomatic cases under observation in the city as of yesterday.

Among the confirmed 336 imported Covid-19 cases so far, six patients are being treated and 330 have been discharged upon recovery, the commission said.

It added three suspected cases, also involving people who had recently been overseas, are undergoing further tests.

Of the 341 local cases, seven have died and 334 patients have fully recovered and been released from hospital, the commission said.
