(Yicai Global) Oct. 17 -- Xiaoma Zhiting (Xiaoma Smart Parking), a startup engaged in intelligent car parking, has obtained CNY12 million (USD1.8 million) in angel-round financing and plans to move forward with an A-round of funding worth another CNY12 million, the company's operator, Qinhuangdao Xiaoma Network Technology Development Co., said in a press briefing yesterday.

The firm's smart platform integrates information from different car parks to provide real-time information on the number and location of available parking spaces. It also supports automatic fare collection, parking space booking and parking lot sharing.

Users can also pay CNY960 (USD146) for a smart lock to reserve a parking space based on Narrow Band Internet of Things (NBIoT), enabling them to share a space and make money.

Xiaoma Smart Parking has installed more than 1,000 devices near business buildings, markets, stores and communities in the cities Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen and in northern Hebei province. The company aims to install 100,000 devices next year.
