(Yicai Global) July 5 -- Chinese railway signal communication system supplier, Henan Splendor Science & Technology Co. [SZE:002296], has secured a CNY157 million (USD23.1 million) contract for building a railway monitoring system in the capital of central Henan province, Zhengzhou.

The company has successfully bid for the monitoring system integration project for Zhengzhou's rail transit line No. 5, it said in a statement yesterday, adding that the bid price, CNY157 million, is equivalent to 30.4 percent of the company's audited operating income last year.

Winning the contract will have a positive impact on the company's earnings in the future, the statement noted. Its share price rose 0.54 percent on the A-share market at noon today.
