(Yicai Global) July 19 -- Shares in STO Express have risen to a 28-month high today after the major Chinese courier revealed last night that revenue surged through June.

Its share price [SHE:002468] was up 4.4 percent at CNY27.60 (USD4.01) as of 1.11 p.m.

The Shanghai-based company delivered 620 million packages and letters in June, up 54.2 percent on the year as revenue surged 41.8 percent to CNY1.77 billion (USD257 million), it said, attributing the success to China's still rapidly expanding e-commerce market.
