(Yicai Global) July 12 -- A wholly-owned subsidiary of Talkweb Information System Inc. [SHE: 002261] will cooperate with a language-processing AI technology company in Beijing to develop AI teaching products and jointly promote the application of AI technology in China's education industry.

The Shenzhen-based wholly-owned subsidiary, Sea Sky Land Technology Co., has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Singsound Information Technology. Co., said a statement issues by the listed company today.

Based on voice recognition, voice evaluation and natural language processing and other core technologies, Singsound has independently developed a number of AI technologies that can be applied to such education fields as intelligent voice evaluation, intelligent correction for written exercises, adaptive learning, intelligent dialogue, emotional recognition and others, it said.

Singsound supports and agrees to participate in the artificial intelligence technology alliance established by Sea Sky Land, as well as the implementation of its brain AI brain plan, the statement added, saying the two sides will cooperate to introduce teaching application products applicable to various teaching procedures including teaching, learning, testing, evaluating and training, while promoting the formulation of AI technology industry standards.

The two sides will also try to cooperate on other educational products such as English oral tests, after-class oral practice and mock oral examinations platform.
