(Yicai Global) March 30 -- China's mainland stocks opened down this morning with tech and movie-related stocks losing the most. The agricultural sector led gains.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 1.17 percent lower at 2,739.72 and the Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.55 percent to 9,953.04. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, slid 1.5 percent to 1, 875.31.
Cinemas that had already reopened or were scheduled to do so in the near future must remain closed for the time being, the China Film Administration said on March 27.
