(Yicai Global) Jan. 22 -- China's mainland stock markets reversed their prolonged day-after slides by lunchtime with Tesla's suppliers leading the way amid the new energy vehicle maker's rising valuation.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.3 percent to 10,986.51. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, climbed 0.17 percent to 1,970.41. The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.23 percent to 3,045.03.

Tesla suppliers surged after the US firm's market cap surpassed USD100 billion yesterday in after-hours trading. Anjie Technology [SHE:002635] and Yongli Belting [SHE:300230] both hit the 10 percent price ceiling.
