(Yicai) Jan. 9 -- The Fed should wait until the third quarter to start cutting interest rates, said Steven Englander, head of Global G10 FX research and North American Macro Strategy at Standard Chartered Bank. The US economy will experience a gentle decline next year, but it will be slow, Englander predicted.
