(Yicai Global) Oct. 23 -- Foreigners will be able to have 144-hour visa-free stopovers in 27 ports of entry in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Dalian from Dec. 1.
The new policy involves 20 cities, including Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Qinhuangdao, Nanjing, Shenyang, Qingdao, Chengdu, Xiamen, Kunming, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Jieyang, Chongqing, Xi'an and Ningbo, the State Immigration Administration said in a statement today.
Moreover, foreigners in the three ports of entry in Changsha, Guilin, and Harbin may apply for the 72-hour transit visa exemption, the NIA added.
