(Yicai Global) April 27 -- Chinese carmaking startup Xiaopeng Motors, which brands itself as XMotors.ai, rolled out its first battery-electric sedan today with a range of between 500 kilometers and 650 kilometers under the New European Driving Cycle standards to rival Tesla’s Model 3.

The car, named P7, is priced at between CYN229,000 (USD32,350) and CYN349,000. It uses a Xavier platform-based level three autonomous driving system, the Guangzhou-based firm’s founder and Chief Executive He Xiaopeng said.
