(Yicai Global) Dec. 8 -- Zuotoujing.com, which operates in Tibetan culture travel sector, has successfully raised tens of millions of yuan in pre-A series of funding to facilitate the platform's strategic goal of expanding its Tibetan culture experience network within three years. The latest financing round was led by Bowei Investment and followed by Zhong Shuo Capital and Yuntouhui of CSC Group.

Zuotoujing.com is the first brand focusing on Chinese Tibetan culture travel in the tourism industry and the only platform in the country dedicated to exporting and disseminating Tibetan culture, it says. Its project area covers Tibet and neighboring provinces such as Sichuan, Yunnan, Qinghai and Gansu as well as neighboring countries including Nepal, Bhutan and India.

The core products of Zuotongjing.com includeTibetan theme travel, cultural travel and customized travel. With the Tsangyang Gyatso poetry as its cultural intellectual property, the company has bonded with more than 60 thematic communities centering on the appreciation of Tsangyang Gyatso poetry in first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, it said.

With the increasing convenience of transportation, the number of domestic and foreign tourists traveling to Tibet grows steadily. Public data show that 84 million people visited Tibet last year, up 30 percent compared with the previous year.
