Shanghai GreenExpress Foods, a meal supplier for 484 local schools, was urged to shut down for severe food safety violations and taken over preliminarily by Bright Food since Sept. 15, according to an investigation report disclosed today. Eight suspects,including the owner, have been arrested for bid rigging.
