China's electricity use jumped 10.4% to 857.2 billion kilowatt-hours in October from a year ago, with industry's power consumption rising 6.4%, according to the National Energy Administration. In the first 10 months of the year, the country used about 8.62 trillion kWh of electricity, a 5.1% year-on-year gain.
