China's telecoms industry generated revenue of CNY1.47 trillion (USD207 billion) in the first ten months of this year, up 0.9% from a year ago, according to data from the MIIT. 5G handset users exceeded 1.18 billion as of the end of last month, making up 65% of the country's total phone users.
