Some 650 million passenger trips were made in China in the first 10 months of the year, up 5.3% from a year earlier, according to data released by the CAAC yesterday. Cargo and mail transport volume jumped 14% to 8.31 million tons in the period, with the figure for October surpassing 900,000 tons for the first time in history.
