To promote the booming sports and related consumption market, China's Jilin became the second Chinese provincial-level region after Xinjiang Autonomous Region to roll out an ice and snow holiday apart from the regular winter holiday for students, allowing them to take a five-day break from Dec. 3 and get free access to 39 local skating rinks and skiing resorts.
