Chinese waterproof materials maker Oriental Yuhong said today that its wholly owned US subsidiary, Oyh Construction Materials,may have been a victim of a telecom fraud involving about USD1.72 million. The company said criminals hacked the unit's email system and impersonated a general contractor to solicit progress payments for a construction project. The matter has been reported to local police and the FBI.
