Over 1.3 billion people were covered by China's basic medical insurance by the end of last year, with the coverage rate remaining stable at around 95%, the National Healthcare Security Administration said. The basic medical insurance fund reported CNY3.59 trillion (USD520 billion) in revenue in 2025.
