Ju Jingyi, a former member of Chinese idol group SNH48, today rejected tax evasion allegations made a day earlier by her former management agency, Star48 Culture Media Group, which claimed she underreported 88% of her income in 2024. A contract dispute between Ju and Star48 that began in 2024 intensified last year, when Ju accused the firm of multiple breaches of contract -- including withholding and misappropriating performance earnings owed to her -- claims that Star48 has denied.
