China's grain yield is expected to rise to about 5.97 tons per hectare in 2026, lifting its total grain output to 716 million tons, up 0.2% from 2025, according to a report released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs yesterday. Oilseed output will likely rise 2.6% to 42.04 million tons.
