Huawei's Pura 90 series will keep its prices from CNY4,699 (USD689), with the Pro model even coming CNY1,000 (USD147) cheaper, despite a brutal 300% surge in memory prices that added CNY1,500 (USD220) to costs, Richard Yu, chairman of Huawei's Consumer BG, said at a product launch event. He also warned that despite Huawei’s domestic supply chain resilience, unbearable rising costs may soon force the firm to raise prices of consumer products.
