Shanghai Metro Line 22, the city's first rail transit project to cross the Yangtze River, completed track laying yesterday. Running from Shanghai's Pudong New Area to Chongming Island, the line stretches over 42 km and will run at a designed speed of 120 km/h, featuring eight stations.
