Wuxi AppTec's net profit rose 27% to CNY4.7 billion (USD684 million) in the first quarter from a year ago, thanks to its continued focus on strengthening its contract research, development, and manufacturing organization business model, the Chinese drugmaker said today. Revenue climbed 29% to CNY12.4 billion (USD1.8 billion).
