Following the CSRC's crackdown on illegal cross-border securities trading, online brokerages Futu Holdings and Longbridge have started closing inactive, empty accounts and those opened with false documents. Futu's Futubull app has added an "Update Identity Information" shortcut, where users with compliant overseas identity documents can update their information without affecting trading or fund transfers.
