Xiaohongshu, also known outside China as RedNote, said yesterday it has removed more than 31,000 accounts and posts since May as part of a campaign targeting illicit financial content. The social platform said the crackdown focuses on illegal cross-border investment promotions and stricter enforcement of its financial certification and account rules.
