Alibaba has merged its Tongyi LLM Division and Future Living Lab into its new Token Foundry Division, led by CEO Eddie Wu. Zhou Jingren was appointed chief scientist of the new Alibaba AI Future Research Institute, and Zheng Bo’s Happy Horse and Happy Oyster teams joined the Token Foundry Division to streamline the tech giant's AI operations.
