China recorded 71 initial public offerings in the first half, raising CNY70.5 billion (USD10.4 billion), according to the China Association for Public Companies. The mainland had 5,535 listed companies as of the end of June, with 2,314 on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, 2,898 on the Shenzhen bourse, and 323 on the Beijing Stock Exchange.
