China's state-funded student loan program had issued CNY695.8 billion (USD102.43 billion) in loans by the end of 2025, benefiting more than 30 million students, the Ministry of Education said today. The country has raised the annual ceiling for student loans to CNY20,000 (USD2,955) for undergraduate and vocational college students and CNY25,000 for graduate students.
