China's summer box office from June 1 to Aug. 31 rose 4.5% to CNY12.5 billion (USD1.9 billion) from a year earlier, led by Kung Fu Soccer, Once Upon a Time in the Middle East, All Wishes Come True, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and The Odyssey, according to data from the China Film Administration.
