Luckin Coffee's net profit surged 45% to CNY1.9 billion (USD279 million) in the third quarter from a year ago, while its revenue rose 17% to CNY17.9 billion (USD2.7 billion), according to the Chinese coffee chain's preliminary earnings report. The company added 2,599 shops, bringing its global total to 38,909 outlets.
