Samsung topped the global smartphone market with a 20% share last quarter, followed by Apple with 18%, according to data from high-tech industry analysis platform TechInsights released yesterday. China's Xiaomi, OnePlus, and Vivo made the rest of the top 5, while Transsion, Honor, Huawei, Lenovo-Motorola, and Realme ranked in the top 10.
