China's Hainan Free Trade Port will launch island-wide independent customs operations on Dec. 18, introducing more lenient trade management measures, Wang Changlin, deputy head of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at a press conference today. The proportion of tariff lines with zero-tariff products will increase to 74% from 21%.
