China's passenger car sales jumped 6.3% in July from a year earlier to 1.83 million units, a new record for the month, while sales in the first seven months surged 10.1% year on year to 12.73 million autos, the CPCA said today. Exports of fossil fuel-powered passenger vehicles tumbled 9% from January to July to 1.76 million units, while that of NEVs soared 57% to 1.2 million autos.
